Manny's story so far...
Now retired, Manny Pagan started at the youthful age of 18 as an apprentice. He quickly picked up the trade and started to work on his own, eventually creating a multitude of cabinetry that would house the works of the famous French-American artist and sculptor Louise Bourgeois.
Whether you were going to sit on it, eat from it, store your things in it, or simply admire it - his creations would become your heirlooms, last a lifetime and could be handed down for generations to come. He’s also created lighted wall art that shows the sophistication and spectacular grain patterns of various types of wood.
"sit on it, eat from it, store your things in it, or simply admire it"
Manny used a myriad of locally sourced wood - from the simplest and most common domestic woods; birch, maple, and mahogany – to the most extravagant; birds-eye and ambrosia maples, honey mesquite and Japanese oak.
From bowls and cutting boards – to hope chests, dining room sets, and cabinetry, Manny Pagan’s work is functional, sustainable art.
Today Manny enjoys spending time with his family and friends, working on family projects and custom pieces for his own personal collection.
